I built this truck as a suprise gift truck for Dan Runte, though he already knows about it (Truck was scheduled to go to St Louis in March, but the truck wasn't quite finished yet). Plan for the truck was to give the truck a little more top end, but still have the truck be as maintenance free as possible so that they aren't constantly working on it. They aren't home much as it is, so we figured the less they had to do to keep the truck running, the more time they'd have to play. Truck will be off to St Louis on May 20th from the Off Road Jamboree in Lima, OH.

This is my Traxxas T-Maxx. SuperMaxx Stage 3 chassis and Stage 3 EXT suspension, RC Alloys replica Chevy wheels, IMEX J-Hawg tires, Dynamite/Losi T-Maxx shocks, OFNA Hyper .21, Airtronics M8 radio, Pro-Line Chevy Silverado body with Slixx Kevin Harvick decal set, Hitec 645 servos, Traxxas Maxx primerless fuel tank, GS lines, Rix Gear reverse lockout.
Other Misc. Pics
TXT couldn't get away from the pen quick enough at the Flint, MI Torgerson Motorsports show (Feb 1-2, 2002)....actually, I asked Dan to sign it so that I could hang it on the wall with the rest of my retired race bodies. The ChromaLusion body in the pic above is also autographed (Which he was gracious enough to sign for me after signing autographs in Ft Wayne, IN for 4 hours and pulling a couple muscles in his back when the truck decided to land weird on the concrete. We tried to make it up after the show by being the first ones into the hauler after the show to help load up, after the truck graciously munched up a tranny during truck introductions *BIG KUDOS here to Dave and guys from the other teams who pitched in to help swap transmissions in the truck DURING the show which ended up being a 90 minute job*, blew off a brake line on the front of the truck and proceeded to blow 2 concrete highway barriers in half...it was a long night and the trailer being all loaded up so we could sit around for 3 hours in the trailer and BS after 2 LONG days was a welcome sight....).
This is a photo of my TXT-1 at the end of one of our R/C car club meetings earlier this winter at Richfield Park BMX track in Davison, Michigan. In the background is my now-deceased New Era T-Maxx with an O.S. .40 SC-X 4-stroke engine in it. The 4-stroke car engine proved to be too much work to keep it running well and was sold to a guy in Las Vegas, NV. I still have the chassis, just not sure what I am going to do with it yet.
Other cars:
I also have an OFNA Ultra GT LX 1/8 scale buggy that I got from my buddy Bill Huber (who own RC Alloys) in Overland, Missouri (suburb of St Louis in North County). I also have a stock E-Maxx and a stock electric Traxxas Stampede as well as a Losi XXX-NT Ready to Race version which was built by Adam Drake. Laying on the bottom of my shelf is a new in box Juggernaut 2. Maybe some day I will find time to build it ( I hope). My boyfriend, Rob, has an OFNA Monster Pirate with MT3 Dominator wheels, IMEX Baja tires and a Hyper .21 engine. It's a pretty cool truck and is pretty fast for being only a single speed. He is also planning on getting an Associated Factory Team GT with an RB Concepts .12 engine from a friend of ours who is getting out of the hobby.
